It’s great to have a fuel card.
I got one from the BBC years ago.
Sometimes I leave the motor parked ticking over all night;
‘cos you never know when the golly-wogs are gonna start talking trash, and when they do, and when it’s time to battle, IT’S ON.
Me and BigEars have been handling business for ages like, not just two geeks off the street, we gotta be pretty handy with the steel if you know what I mean.

Danny Murray, chief executive of Topaz the company behind the Statoil and Shell brands, said “I would not buy [petrol] there”. Adding, “What I would say to people is to buy just two litres there if you have to, and fill up somewhere else.” He said he could not force the station to reduce its price, but could decide not to renew its contract when it expired, forcing the station to buy its fuel from another company.

I could fill up there for 111.43c yesterday. All you have to do is have a Statoil Fuel card which guarantees you a cheap prices anywhere in the country.

The guards would have a similar deal going.

Company cars refuel on Usher’s Quay and pay no more than EUR 1.21 per litre at the moment. You set a price to constrain the queue because company cars need to stay moving.

Fuggers…one thing i did notice was that it was very quiet. Tourists filling up their hire cars and not much else.

Someone was telling me that they are contracted to supply the garda cars (or some state dept. anyways)with fuel so they don’t have to worry about being comepetitive.
So you don’t have to buy your fuel there but the bastards’ll still get your money from the government, absolutely shocking stuff, shocking I tell ya.
If it’s true. Which I think it is.

It’s mental isn’t it? I’ve been told that it is the petrol station contracted to supply the garda cars fuel (or some other state body, but I think it’s the gardai) so they don’t have to worry about being competitive.

So while you don’t have to go in there and by your petrol they’re still getting the taxpayers cash. Bastards!
